Outdoor Resort - Chokoloskee: Kenny says there is plenty of room with most of the tourists gone back up north. The fishin' couldn't be better. Tarpon, Tarpon, Tarpon!!! K.C.'s Riverstop: "The only fishing pier in Cape Coral." Betty and Carmine, owners of K.C.'s Riverstop, report nice catches of snook on live bait. Some cobia have been hitting Bomber lures. Snapper action has been steady along with a few sharks taken at night. K.C.'s is located at the foot of the pier and there is no fishing license required in order to enjoy a great day or night of fishing. George in the bait shop has all the updated fishin' info. K.C.'s offers a fuel dock along with beer and wine. They also serve breakfast, luch, and dinner with a beautiful outside deck overlooking the river. Entertainment is offered on the deck on weekends.

Scottie's North Bay Marina: Tarpon are the talk of the month with big fish travelling the Caloosahatchee River as far up as the freshwater locks. Big drum are still being taken on live crabs. Redfish and some snook are still biting at the railroad tresses. Some sheepshead, whiting, and trout are reported biting at the river markers.
