Rainbow River This will be a drift dive in the Rainbow
river. We will canoe up the river and drift back down the river. The
depth will vary from 12' to 3'. Meet at the scuba shed at 9:00am am. We
will leave at 9:15am sharp! This is an easy dive in crystal clear water.
We can do a 3 hour drift dive down the river.

Silver Springs/Paradise Springs Once again...we will try to
make this trip this time! We will drive to Ocala, FL and do a drift dive
in the Silver river. The depths range from 5 to 20 feet in crystal clear
water. Snorkeling is also welcome. After the dive, We will go to Paradise
after the dive and this is a 100' cavern dive. Lights for this dive are a
must! The first dive in the river is FREE and the Paradise site will be
about $25. Meet at the shed at 8am for a 8:20am departure. Tanks will be
given out at the shed. E mail Nathan if you want to go.

Dry Tortugas This is a 3-4 day
liveaboard trip. Boat leaves Thursday afternoon and travels to the
Tortugas while you sleep. When you wake in the morning, get a dive in
before breakfast. Get in 6-8 dives a day with bottom times of almost and
hour each! On Sunday dive the wreck "Baja California" (WWII wreck with
plenty of artifacts) and the Air Force Tower (home of over 1/2 dozen 300+
pound jewfish). Lobster season ends the next week, so get them fresh while
you can. Fishing and spearfishing are allowed, and they will either clean
and ice your catch, or cook it for you! Great food with short Ft.
Jefferson tour. The Tortugas are a photographers dream as several dives
are made in the underwater park boundaries. USF club members Mike and
Chasity will host. Get certified in d rift, night, or nitrox while on the
trip for just the cots of books. Dives are included. Nitrox included for
this certified or tak ing the class. :-)The entire boat is booked and is
half full.
